Founded in 1948, the three-week Aix-en-Provence festival of lyric music is widely regarded as one of Europe’s best. If you’re a lover of opera and the human voice, it’s possibly THE best way of catching both established stars and up-and-coming talents in innovative productions of established masterpieces, as well as new, recent and rarely-performed works.

In this interview, Limelight Arts Travel’s Robert Veel and music educator and tour leader Robert Gay discuss the 2023 Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
